This section of our website will be dedicated to sharing information for our upcoming school year. Please continue to check here, as we are still finalizing many decisions!
Strafford School District’s number one priority is the safety of our students and staff. The Phase 1 plan found below has been created in conjunction with the Springfield-Greene County Health Department and is based on best practices from schools and businesses in our area and recommendations from our community and DESE. Our district’s goal is for kids to return to school and to keep students learning with us in the safest learning environment that we can provide.
For an overview of what school will look like to begin with, take a look at the one page Strafford Start Strong Safety Plan. You can view our detailed Reopening Plan Phase 1 Handbook HERE. With this detailed plan we hope to provide our students with the best opportunity to learn and grow in the safest learning environment during these challenging times.
At this time, if you feel that this plan is NOT in your student’s best interest, please use this link to request for your child to have virtual/online learning through LAUNCH. Once you have filled out the application, district personnel will be contacting you. The deadline to fill out this form is by 3:00pm on Friday, August 14. Please note: online/virtual learning will look different for ALL students compared to Spring 2020.
We appreciate your patience and grace as we navigate leading our Strafford Family safely back to learning this fall. We look forward to seeing you all Monday, August 24 as we start another great year of being STRAFFORD STRONG!
