Dear Strafford Families-
The current spread of COVID-19 in our area requires school districts to be flexible and make decisions that are in the best interest of our students, staff, and community. I know that this is a very uncertain time for everyone and we are here to help our staff navigate through this. Below are some updates and important information for you as parents and guardians.
* What will learning look like in the coming weeks?
We understand that school can not be replicated. However, our district will be working on resources to support students in their learning while we are closed. Teachers and staff will be working next week to develop alternative learning options for students. When we have finalized details those will be shared with you from your student's building.
* Medications at School:
Parents who need to pick up their child's medication should contact the school nurse to coordinate a pick-up time and location. School buildings will be locked down over the next couple of weeks and only planned visitors will be allowed to enter.
* Free Meal Option During School Closure:
The Strafford R-VI School District will be offering an allotment of breakfast and lunch food for all of our PK-12th grade students. Parents and guardians must sign up for the meals below so we know how much to prepare. The food bags will include breakfast and lunch items for your student(s) for 5 days. The form can be found HERE to fill out your student's food order.
Thank you for your support and cooperation as we continue to respond to this situation.
