Strafford School District’s number one priority is the safety of our students and staff. This plan has been created in conjunction with the Springfield-Greene County Health Department and is based on best practices from schools and businesses in our area and recommendations from our community and DESE. Our district’s goal is for kids to return to school and to keep students learning with us in the safest learning environment that we can provide.
Take a look at the following one page “Strafford Start Strong Safety Plan” for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. With these answers provided, we know there will be more questions. Please know that we are working on a more detailed plan to provide our students with the best opportunity to learn and grow in the best learning environment during these challenging times. A finalized re-entry plan will be released on August 7th.
At this time, if you feel that this plan is NOT in your student’s best interest, please use this link to request for your child to have virtual/online learning through LAUNCH. Once you have filled out the application, district personnel will be contacting you. Please note: online/virtual learning will look different for ALL students compared to Spring 2020.
We appreciate your patience and grace as we navigate leading our Strafford Family safely back to learning this fall. We look forward to seeing you all Monday, August 24th as we start another great year of being STRAFFORD STRONG!
