There may be no cost to you if your child is insured with Medicaid. Private insurance and self-pay options are also available. If you self-pay the fee for cleaning, screening and fluoride is $68 for ages 5-12, or $81 for over 13.
The in-school dental program is for students Kindergarten through 12th grade. Big Smiles will be at Strafford Elementary on Thursday, October 21. They will be at Strafford Middle and High School on Friday, October 22. The in-school program provides gentle dental care from licensed local professionals. Dental care includes a complete dental exam, x-rays, cleaning, fluoride and sealants when necessary, and in some cases, restorative care such as fillings.
